Automation - Trigger based on Field Value

For example, if drop down list was used. If a certain value is selected it will trigger. Currently trigger happens based on if the field is updated generally. My use case is as a CRM. Field contains Lead Status. I want to trigger specific tasks based on the status of the lead.

I did speak to support who offered a solution by typing in a condition. But it would be so much more efficient to just be able to select the field value as opposed to typing it in.
